"Public Access" (new book), Exhibits, and the Return of Rappin' with the Rickster

Yo yo, what up? How are ya? Good? Good....Whadda ya think, you're Jo Jo White? Listen, here's the latest that I can spew about myself on a low-key tip....I've got 2 jazz cigarettes burning at the same time with my public access show (Rappin' with the Rickster) on Wednesday Nites at 11PM(NYC time) on Channel 57 or on mnn.org at the same time from anywhere ( and beautifully made possible by my 2 bestest friends I've known since'69 ish, Geeby Dajani and Keene 'Carse')...And a book commemmorating 20 Years taking flicks on the Curly Neal Real.... powerhouse Books published PUBLIC ACCESS: Ricky Powell Photographs 1985-2005 (A Miss Rosen Edition)..So those are nice but I'm still scrambling like Marlin Briscoe. I've evolved (I think, photographically), I do a "World Famous Slide Show" complete with Dean Martin-Redd Foxx-esque sallillaquees and a guranteed belly acher for the faint..and soft.

I NOW, do installations for people who commission me to hook up their establishment or home with my photos (References are always nice)(Inquiries welcome)... Editorially I'm am in my 4 1/2 year of writing my column (The Doloist)...and I am now contributing photos to a new mag called Coll 'Eh. It's a freebie right now but it's aiight. And there are plans of a doll being made of me by these dudes Comcast in Cali. (their first doll is going to be GhostFaceKiller/a...And I'm doing some cool shit with my boy Ryan from Lush Life as well...Oh, and I have a sneaker coming out with Converse this year...And I'm still down with Upper Playground in SF....Ok, that's about it for now...I'm going to 'throw the sandwich in...'.
